Position Summary The Program Director is a strategic and visionary leader who will guide the design, implementation, and evaluation of Future of Us’ programs. This role is central to advancing our mission of cultivating bold Asian organizers and ensuring that young Asian Americans are politically engaged, represented, and empowered to lead. The Program Director will oversee program operations, manage staff, and drive long-term strategies that align with our mission, vision, and values. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Program Director will serve as a key thought partner, organizational leader, and community advocate. This role requires a balance of strategic vision, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to youth empowerment, advocacy, and community building.
Salary and Benefits FUTURE OF US has a tiered pay scale ranging from hourly to salary positions that are based on Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) every other year, and pay equity and economic justice. Pay equity is the principle of providing equal compensation to employees who perform comparable work, regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, or other protected characteristics. It ensures that compensation is based on job responsibilities and performance, without bias or discrimination. This salaried position currently ranges from $65,280 - $74,460 based on experience per year with an annual raise between 1% to 3% based on annual reviews and budget. Oversee the organization’s base-building and organizing models, ensuring alignment with best practices, data protocols, and community-driven approaches.
Oversee the Canvassing program, annual goals & metrics using best practices to increase voter engagement amongst Asian Americans.
Monitor program implementation to ensure accountability, impact, and compliance with nonpartisan standards.
Department & Staff Management
Manage the program department’s operations, schedules, workflows, budgets, and staffing needs.
Lead department meetings, ensuring clear communication of priorities, progress, and challenges.
Support staff development through coaching, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities.

Evaluation & Impact
Develop and conduct annual program evaluations, including quarterly, annual, and multi-year metrics, goals, and outcomes.

Join Future of Us team to provide and support comprehensive administrative support to the organization's executive leadership team.Essential duties and responsibilities:
Administrative Duties The Executive Assistant will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative support mainly 50% to the Executive Director (this includes engagement with the Board of Directors), 30% to leadership team, and 20% large scale social events, program and/or organization-wide operations for FUTURE OF US. This position is key to ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the organization. The responsibilities included will be:
Schedule and Calendar Management: Coordinate and manage the leadership team's schedules, including setting appointments, organizing meetings, and maintaining calendars to ensure timely attendance at key events. This includes staff and board meetings.
Meeting Coordination and Support: Prepare agendas, schedule, and arrange logistics for internal and external meetings. This includes preparing meeting spaces, special events, sending reminders, and handling technical setups (e.g., virtual meeting platforms).
Documentation and Correspondence: Draft and manage correspondence on behalf of the leadership team, including emails, letters, and memos. Handle confidential information with discretion. Take detailed meeting minutes and distribute them as needed.
Operational Support: Coordinate office operations, including managing office supplies, technology needs, and vendor relationships. Assist with travel arrangements, event planning, and other operational duties as required.
Project Management Assistance: Support leadership and team with tracking progress on various projects, including monitoring deadlines, organizing materials, and maintaining communication with internal teams and external partners.
Report Preparation: Assist in the preparation of organizational reports by gathering and organizing data, drafting documents, and ensuring the timely completion of reports for stakeholders and funders.
Filing and Record Maintenance: Maintain the organization’s filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring that records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

Position Summary This is a part-time, average 10-15 hours/month position to help manage our annual finances, reconcile all accounts, and put in place best practices by creating a financial policies and procedures manual. Our annual budget for 2024 was $750K+ and projected at $800K in 2025. Note: The hours to start will be more than the average 10-15 hours/month to include work sessions involving the transfer of processes and procedures; and developing a comprehensive financial manual for the organization.

Duties and responsibilities:
The bookkeeper will manage our annual revenue in Quickbooks and process bi-weekly payroll. Reconcile all accounts (ex: bank, cc, review reports, revenue/expense reports, balance sheets (showing liabilities and assets) every end of the month.
Put checks and balances in place to deliver on all AP/AR.
Oversee and responsible for all tasks related to accounts payable, including evaluating invoices for payment, issuing payment, coding expenses to appropriate funding and all other functions related to the issuance of payment.
In partnership with the Executive Director, responsible for overseeing tasks related to accounts receiving, including invoicing and retrieving funds from appropriate funders, individuals, partners or accounts.
We have two major online fundraising events; one in May and in November - it would be important for the bookkeeper/accountant to maintain all donations raised during these two events.
Produce quarterly and annual reports for stakeholders and funders to help increase our Organization development.
If certified Accountant, they will also file our annual 501c3 taxes and perform all other duties outlined.

Who are we looking for? Future Of Us is seeking to hire a team of canvassers to engage with our base of young Asian voters ages 18 - 35 constituents on various issues including but not limited to Reproductive Justice and Election. The canvassers will be a critical component of our community engagement work that directly impacts youth and young people. Our team of canvassers will lead our direct community engagement efforts on the phones. This is a seasonal temporary position from March through November.
Position Summary The Phone Canvasser is someone who understands the goals and metrics that have been set and is capable of meeting these goals and metrics. The Phone Canvasser is someone that’s able to step in and support other canvassers through shared best practices and identify key challenges that need to be uplifted for the Field Manager. As part of our organizational values of growth and constructive feedback, the Phone Canvasser is expected to share feedback and suggestions to further our approach to canvassing and engaging with our communities on important issues.

Must haves for the position
At least 1 year of experience in canvassing, community organizing, teamwork and /or customer service and data entry
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment, taking ownership, and initiative with minimal direction.
Experience in meeting and interacting with new people, and people of all backgrounds and identities
Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) including ability to articulate progress, concerns, and recommendations in a concise and timely manner.
Nice haves for the position
Fluent and able to have a conversation on the local election in the following Asian ethnic language: Karen, and Hmong
Experience in utilizing Voter Action Network, GetThru (Thrutalk, Thrutext), and Google Suite/Doc
